Obituary of David Michael Hardman
David was born on April 11th, 1975, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up in Sharonville, playing SYO sports and baseball as a Princeton Viking. David graduated from Princeton High School in 1993, played baseball at Walsh University, and proudly graduated from the University of Cincinnati with his teaching degree. David’s teaching career began at Cheviot Elementary, teaching social studies and coaching boys and girls basketball. He moved up to Gilbert A. Dater High School to teach history. He continued to energetically coach girls’ basketball at Aiken, Walnut Hills, Gamble Montessori, and Western Hills High School. Family, friends, colleagues, and students, will tell you David ALWAYS made us laugh. His shenanigans kept us on our toes. His laugh was infectious. David always listened, and we all know he was quite the talker, too. As one friend so eloquently stated, “I think you can tell a lot about a person by their attitude, but even more, when their attitude changes you for the better. I can still hear David now, saying, ‘YOU can do this!’” David’s visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 9th, 2019, with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Landmark Church (1231-1600 Glendale Milford Road, Cincinnati, OH 45215). Contributions may be made in David’s memory to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation, P.O. Box 414238, Boston, MA 02241.
