James "Jimmy" Patrick Carr

James Patrick Carr, beloved son of Jean S. and the late James W Carr, dear brother of Michael, Joseph, Susan, Kathleen Carr and Theresa J Snider, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at age 57. As an avid fan of classic rock he borrowed the spelling of his name from Jimi Hendrix. He had a deep knowledge of Beatles trivia and an uncanny memory for classic rock. He was a gifted natural artist and painted in watercolor and oils as a young man. An enthusiast of collectible automobiles, his 56 Chevrolet Bel Air was featured in the Hollywood movie "Rage in Harlem". Early in his career Jimi was a surgical tech at Bethesda North Hospital. He cherished his second family at Serenity Baptist Church in Westchester. His laughter will be sorely missed by all of us.
