Michael Edward Thomas, beloved son of Virginia and the late Edward Lane. Loving father of Melanie Lane, Andrea (Andrew) Russell, Matthew, Jarrod, and the late Thomas Lane. Dear brother of Timothy Lane, Patsi (Guy) Eisenmann, and Peggy (Mike) Welch. Cherished grandfather of five. Also survived by his very special friend Denise Trescott. He served in the US Navy from 1973-1979 and later in the USAF Reserve from 1982-2013. Michael was appointed a Kentucky Colonel for his service and accomplishments on behalf of others. Member of F & AM Lodge #100. Michael passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at age 63.
