

Edith was born April 23, 1925 in the sub-district of Cholsey in Berkshire, U.K. to Frederick and Edith (Robey) Sears. She attended local schools there where she met Fred Eisner who was serving in the US Army. They were married on November 19, 1943 and made their home in Sheboygan. Fred preceded her in death on December 18, 1969.
On August 10, 1974 Dottie and Frederick E. Schnorr were united in marriage at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Sheboygan. The couple enjoyed golfing, watching the Green Bay Packers, and vacationing in Florida. Fred preceded her in death on March 24, 2013.
For many years Dottie was employed as a broker in the real estate business.
Dottie is survived by her son, John Frederick Eisner; her daughter, Janice (Richard) Davies all of Sheboygan; her step-daughters, Martha Schnorr (Tom Gerkensmeyer) of San Leandro, CA, Mary (Al) Ellrodt of Fedreal Way, WA, and Beth Schnorr (Bruce King) of Neenah, WI; her grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremiah) DeWitt, Sandra (Matthew) Jacobson, Brenda Davies (Dean Strebe), David Davies, Jamie Ellrodt, Chris Ellrodt, and Andy Ellrodt; her great-grandchildren, Rebecca Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Madelyn Wieland, Julia Wieland, Hannah Davies, Henry Jacobson and Sophie Jacobson; her brothers, Jack Sears, Ronald “Twink” Sears (Mary), and Brian (Patsy) Sears; her sisters, June (Gordon) Purris and Shirley (Morris) White; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Sears; her sister-in-law, Audrey Sears; and her sisters, Ruby (Phil) Humphreys and Christine Sears.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. Gregory S. Whelton will be the officiant. A time of visitation and support will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery.
Dottie’s family would like to thank the staffs at Pine Haven Christian Home and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their kindness and care.
Dottie will always be remembered for the love she held for her whole family and all of her friends.
