Marandi "Mandi" L. Navis

Marandi “Mandi” L. Navis, age 16, went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 4, 2013. She was born in Sheboygan, on October 17, 1996, the daughter of Bryon and Kitty (Schmidt) Navis. Mandi was a sophomore at Ideas Academy in Sheboygan. She enjoyed creative writing and drawing as well as photography, her music and playing guitar. Mandi had so many dear friends and she enjoyed being with them as much as possible. Mandi also enjoyed her quiet time. She could often be found reading while snacking on her favorites of colored goldfish and rootbeer. Mandi had seven brothers and sisters and she loved them all dearly. Mandi was a very tender-hearted and giving young lady who would always have helped anyone.

Mandi is lovingly survived by her mom and dad, Bryon and Kitty Navis of Sheboygan, brothers and sisters: Tiffine Navis of Fond du Lac, Carisha Bell of Sheboygan, Jeason Bell of Sheboygan, Anthony Bell of Sheboygan, Trevor Navis of Fond du Lac, Roberta Navis of Sheboygan, Jonas Navis of Sheboygan; aunts and uncles: Robin Mulder, Tammy (Roger) Hanke, Jay Roberg Jr., Denise (Scott) Groetbeck, Brent (Sarah) Navis, Brett (Diane) Navis: nephew, Anthony Bell Jr. “A.J.”; grandparents: Cynthia (Curtis) Falk, Virgil (Elaine) Navis, Russell Schmidt, and numerous cousins, other family and friends.

Mandi is preceded by her grandmother, Rhea Navis, uncle, Todd Mulder and her great-grandparents.

Funeral services for Mandi will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Ballhorn Chapels & Crematory, 1201 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan with the Rev. Bill Te Winkle officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home for visitation on Friday, March 8th, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
