She was also preceded in death by her nephew, Chris Thacker.
Barbara had a great sense of humor and was always quick witted. She loved watching movies, being outdoors and taking walks with her son. She will be sadly missed by so many who loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son, Paul Montgomery; her sister, Paula Thacker (Carl); her niece, Melanie Thacker; her nephew, David Thacker, and her great niece, Madi Thacker; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Montgomery family has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home with cremation services, with cremains burial to take place at St. Stephens Cemetery.
