Barbara Sue Thomas

   Barbara Sue Thomas age 75, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 16, 2023, at her home with her caretakers and friends by her side.  She was born in Louisville on July 23, 1948, to the late Kenneth and Mernice Davis.

   In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Thomas, a grandson, Christopher Adams, and a granddaughter, Amber Thomas.

 She was a retired teacher and medical assistant that loved to work. She enjoyed eating homecooked meals prepared by her friends. Barbara will be greatly missed by all those that knew and cared for her.

 She leaves to cherish her memory, her friends and caretakers, Anthony Powell, Pamela Fowler, Lynn Powell, and Elizabeth Powell; along with her neighbors, Angie, Tim, Melissa, and Mickey.

  The caretakers of Mrs. Thomas has entrusted Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, with cremation.
