Cathy Ann Dennis

   Cathy Ann Dennis, age 61 of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 16, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents James Smith and Corriene Baumgardener; daughter, April Sowder; brother, William “Lil Bill” Smith.  Cathy was an employee at “What Ever It Takes” in Shepherdsville where she enjoyed her job.

   She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Melissa Brown (Steven); grandchildren, Brianna, TJ, Paige, Gavin; great granddaughter, Teagan, a sister; Michele McNutt (Tim); brothers, James “Jay” Smith (Diana), Robert Smith (Lisa); sister in law Brenda Smith; her best friend and care taker, Freddie Clan; fur baby “WeGo”; along with a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in the chapel at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2 pm until 8 pm on Monday, May 23, 2022 and Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 9 am until time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
