Levon Bishop

   He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bishop; his sons, Barry Michael Goodin and Garry Bishop; along with his brother, Billy Dale Rogers.   

   Levon was a Navy Veteran and a Baptist by faith. He was the owner and operator of Penguin Pools, and formally a Deacon at Victory Baptist Church and formally a member of Eastern Gate Baptist Church. He was a Louisville Cardinal fan and enjoyed time with his grandchildren.

   He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Tonya Kendall; his brother, Tom Mollitt; his grandchildren, Shannon, Cameron, Dylan and Carly; his great grandchildren, Lilly and Emma; along with a host of other family members and friends.

  Funeral service will be at 11 am Saturday, March 11, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 3 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday, 9 am until time of service at 11 am.
