Marsha Kay Sanders

  Marsha Kay Sanders age 62, gained her Heavenly wings on Friday, May 19, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandma. She loved gardening, growing flowers, and crafting. She cherished everything that her grandchildren drew or made for her. She was very proud of her family’s Native American heritage. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her. 

  She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 39 years, John Sanders; her daughters, Stephanie Kennedy (Jacob), and Pamela Gail Sanders (Matt Gentry); a stepdaughter, Lesley Perry (Jeff); grandchildren, Cayde, Scarlett, Whitney, and Josh; her loving dog, Buddy, along with a host of family and friends.

  Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 12 noon in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Family and friends can pay their respects on Friday, from 2 pm until 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am until the time of service at 12 noon at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
