Martin Alexander Sweeney

   He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Anderson; his adopted father, VT Sweeney and adopted grandmother, Katheryn Sweeney.

   He was a member of Blue Ball Baptist Church and enjoyed motorcycles and time with his family and friends.

   Martin leaves to cherish his memory, his fiancé, Sarah Redmon; his mother, Donna Snider (Roy); his children, Kera, Tera, Dakota and Chris; his siblings, Tammy Francis, Tonjia Statsman, Mary Wortham, Angie Watkins, VT Sweeney Jr. and Robin Skaggs; his granddaughter, Sadie Grace Johnson; along with a host of other family members and friends.    

  Funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 South Buckman Street Shepherdsville. Visitations will be Saturday 2 pm until time of service at 6 pm. The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hardy Close Funeral Home for the cost of services.
