Mary Frances Hester

  Mary Frances Hester, age 71 of Shively, returned to her Heavenly Father on March 18, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry A. and Mary E. Hester, and sister, Joan M. Hester. Mary retired from Ford Truck Plant after 30 years of service but has continued to work at Shively Animal Hospital where Mary could continue to share her love for all animals.

  She leaves to cherish her memory her brothers Jerry L. Hester (Ellen), John W. Hester (Donna), James G. Hester, Claude M. Hester (Donna) and sister Cheryl L. Hester, and six nieces, one nephew and five great nieces and two great nephews and a host of family and friends.

  Funeral service will be conducted at 12 pm on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with burial to follow in the Knob Creek Cemetery. Friends may pay their respect on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Friday, March 25, 2022, from 9 am until time of service at Hardy-Close Funeral Home.
