Richard Otto Barnett

   He was preceded in death by his children, Patty and Krissy; along with a brother, John Barnett. 

   Richard served 3 tours in Vietnam, with the United States Marines, the United States Navy and the United States Army. He was a Lutheran by faith. 

   He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 11 years, Rama Jo Barnett; his grandchildren, Garrett Bohne, Alyssa Bohne, Peyton Bohne, Trey Page, Travis Lawrence, Molly Lawrence and Kyle Lawrence; his sister, Mary Ellen Spencer; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

  Funeral service will be at 3 pm Saturday, May 6, 2023, in the chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street, Shepherdsville, with cremation to follow. Visitations are Saturday, from 11 am until time of service at 3.
