Ruth Russell

Ruth Russell age 75 of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on December 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Birdie Phipps; brothers, Kenneth Phipps, Freddie Joe Phipps, Harrison Phipps, and Harley Phipps. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Brenda Samuels (Ted), Becky Lee (Mark), and Tina Nantz (Isaac); grandchildren, Christy Messer, Samantha Nantz, Michael Nantz, and Mark Lee Jr.; great grandchildren, Taylor Boswell, Noah Boswell, Connor Messer; brothers, Paul Phipps, and Lee Phips; sister, Ruby Bargo; and a host of other family and friends. Ms. Russell was a strong, loving mother who was strong in her faith. She raised three daughters and believed you could move mountains with the power of your faith.
