Steven French

   Steven French, age 52 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 25, 2022. He was a United States Army Reserve Combat & Engineer Brigade veteran, a member of Teamsters Local 2727, an employee of UPS for 34 years, Deputy Assistant Fire Chief, Shepherdsville Fire Department and an avid U of K fan. He was very active in St. Aloysius fish fries and picnics.

   He was preceded in death by his father, Ken French; brothers, Tony and Fred French; uncles, Russell (Joan) and Bill French and aunt, Rose Shumate (Donald).

   He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dorothy French Langham (Bob); siblings, Joe French (Cindy), Debra French and Kathy Bridgman (Bruce); nieces and nephews, Jennifer Knox (Grant), Jamie Berry (Derick), Christina Goodin (Josh), Brittany French (John), Sarah O’Connell (Shawn), Grace Bridgman and Samuel Bridgman; aunt, Betty French and a host of other family and friends.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 224 Abbott Street in Shepherdsville at 10 am on Monday, January 2, 2023. Friends and family may pay their respects from 1 pm until 8 pm on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, 285 S. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville.
