Allen Duvall Adams, Jr.

Mr. Allen Duvall Adams, Jr., age 89 of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on March 8, 2018. Mr. Adams was born on January 7, 1929 in Haskell, Texas. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and a proud retired United States Army Veteran.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Duvall Adams, Sr. and Thelma Ora Mae Bledsoe) Adams and his sister.

Mr. Adams leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Doris Lorraine Adams; sons, Tom Kirby (Marianne) and Dave Kirby (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Kristinna Crowe (Tom), T.J. Kirby, Lauren Kirby; and great grandchildren, Connor and Maggie Crowe.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Road) with burial in Brookland Cemetery.
