Artie Frances Perkins

Mrs. Perkins was born June 12, 1938 in Perryville, Kentucky to the late Ike and Alice Denton Johnson. She formerly worked for Shillito's Department Store, Quala Care Daycare and also had an in home childcare for several years. She was a former member of Highview Baptist Church and a current member of Eastern Gate Baptist Church.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her parents and siblings, Mary Ellen Wayne, James, Sam and Johnny Johnson and Elizabeth Burton.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 35 years, Charles "Chip" Perkins; grandson, Nicholas Scott Burger; sister, Anna Mae Wilder; niece, Mabel Randolf (Billy), friend; Denise Behrle (Chris) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd., use John Harper entrance) with burial in Jeffersontown Cemetery.

Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Monday at Schoppenhorst.
