Berry C. Dortha

Mrs. Dortha C. Berry, age 92, of Fairdale, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, February 19, 2018. Mrs. Berry was born in Okolona, Kentucky on December 4, 1925 to the late Richard Thomas Crady, and Nell Bennett Coakley.  She was a retired clerk for the Naval Ordinance and was a member of Mount Holly United Methodist Church. Dot enjoyed working outside with her flowers and was an avid reader. She loved her family and especially loved playing with her great grandson Thomas when he would come to visit her.  She will be greatly missed

Among those preceding her in death include her husband Roger Harlan Berry; 1 brother, Lewis Crady; 1 sister, Martha Wraase; and 1 brother-in-law Russ Berry.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Faye Ann Berry; 1 granddaughter, Stacey Lynn Cannon (Thomas); 2 great grandchildren, Thomas Harlan Cannon and Emmalyn Faye Cannon; 3 sisters, Juanita Berry, Joyce Quick (Erman) and Estelle Routt (Sonny); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. 

A Funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 am on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Mt. Holly United Methodist Church, 804 Mt. Holly Rd., Fairdale Kentucky, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.).
