Billy A Doyle

Mr. Billy A. Doyle, age 91, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. He was born on March 27, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Claude Parker and Maggie Doyle. Mr. Doyle served in the United States Air Force for 6 years earning the rank of Staff Sergeant and later the Kentucky Air National Guard 123rd  TAC Division for 34 years earning the rank Master Staff Sergeant. He was a member of Okolona Christian Church and the VFW. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Doris Doyle; grandchild, Andrew Hamm; siblings, Shirley Crawford, Joan McCurry and Larry Doyle.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 44 years, Joanna Doyle; children, Debbie Watson, Michael W. Doyle, Karen Pryor (Mike); stepchildren, Stephen Hamm (Ginger), Gregory Hamm; grandchildren, Corey Watson (Julie), Erin Pittard (Joel), Ethan Pryor (Kaitlin), Nick Hamm, Matthew Hamm (Ashley); 11 great grandchildren; sister, Janet Williams (Dan); brother, Don Doyle (Pat); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow in Hebron Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Monday from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
