Brenda D. Thompson

Ms. Brenda Darlene Thompson, age 69, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Ms. Thompson was born in McHenry, KY on May 23, 1950 to the late Logan and Margaret Moseley Renfrow and she attended Okolona Christian Church. She was also proud to be a Kentucky organ donor.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her brother, Porter Franklin Renfrow; sister, Margaret Ulaine Renfrow Holland; her niece, Michelle Renfrow and her former husbands, John Dattilo and Douglas Thompson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Lehman Shaw; sister, Rita Scott; nieces and nephews, Jeff Scott, Cathy Holland, Jackie Plamp, Rob Holland, Frank Renfrow and Mandy Renfrow Mae; her beloved furry companion, Sophie; her special friends at Brookley and a host of other dear family and friends.

Family will gather at 12:30 pm on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Inurnment and graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Brookland Cemetery.
