Clarence Ray Mitchell

Mr. Clarence Ray Mitchell, age 94, of Ocala, Florida returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was born on October 20, 1929 to the late Urie H. and Elsie (Heath) Mitchell in Sebree, Kentucky. Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Frances Mitchell; and siblings, J.B Mitchell, Jean Belt, and Martha Cobb.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Freda Hale (Jim) and Fran Matheis; three grandchildren, Sara Voltz (Brandon), Andy Matheis (Tracie) and Joe Matheis; two great grandchildren, Haley Matheis and Grace Matheis; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, Kentucky. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 10:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
