Dinah Marie Chandler

Mrs. Dinah Marie Chandler, age 88, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, September 9, 2016. Mrs. Chandler had been employed at General Electric and Publisher's Printing. She was a member of the Eastern Star and an activist in the Nichols Community of Bullitt County.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her daughter, Mary Jean Hatfield; parents, Harry and Cora Dennison; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Harold Chandler; children, James C. Marcum Jr., Kenny Chandler (Karen), Terry Chandler and Pam Barnett (Mike); 3 step- grandchildren; brothers, Joe, Harry Jr. and Johnny; sisters, Mary, JoAnn, Martina and Margo and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment at Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
