Dorothy Rebecca "Becky" Hasting

 Mrs. Dorothy “Becky” Hasting, age 82, of Shepherdsville, Ky went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 2, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 9, 1942, to the late James Shepherd and Stella (Jackson) Shepherd. Becky belonged to Bullitt Lick Baptist Church where she was a very active member. She retired as a clerk after 20 plus years at the Bullitt County Clerk’s Office, she was a loving wife, mother, and nanny to her husband and children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, lunch outings with her girlfriends, and she had a great sense of humor.  She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her late husband Lendell Hasting, and sister Mildred Pressley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two children Mindy Burt (Jim), Trace Hasting (Shelly), grandchildren Abby Hasting, Colton Hasting, Clayton Hasting, Brennan Seidt, and Hunter Laswell, along with a host of other dear family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway) Burial is to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. And again, Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
