Florence Elizabeth Harper Jolly

Mrs. Florence Elizabeth Harper Jolly, age 88, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Summer Shade, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 29, 2016. Mrs. Jolly retired from Stone Container Company after 33 years of service and was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Samuel Harper and Nervie Susan Billingsley Kingrey; husband, Ed Jolly; daughter, Elizabeth Rigdon; and siblings, Charlie and Bedford Harper, Goldie Jobe and Nora Patterson. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Edward Carroll Jolly and Dana Raymond (Charlie); grandchildren, Thomas Jolly (Kim), Bill Rigdon (Linda), Kimberly Rasner, Lloyd "Dee" Fry (Jessica) and Michelle Elizabeth Fry; great-grandchildren, Jackson Jolly, Hailey Sowders, Austin Sowders, Kelley Rigdon and Wil Rigdon; sister, Dollie Keith; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, September 1, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
