Geraldine "Jeri" Brooks

Ms. Geraldine “Jeri” Brooks, age 74, of Hillview returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 12, 2020.  Mrs. Brooks was born on July 13, 1946 in Louisville, to the late Ms. Jesse Aileen (Payne) Holloway. She was a proud member of the UAW Local 862.

Among those that preceded her in death are her son, William Earl Bevill III “Trae”; granddaughter, Brook Beichler; great-grandson, Ethan Beichler; and sister, Wanda Fell.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Shawna Salsman (Michael) and Erin Hixson (Matt); grandchildren, Brittany Lester (Chris), Bridgett and Bree Beichler, Misty Scates (Stephen), Corey Hixson (Sam) and Morgan Milbourn (Aaron); 13 great-grandchildren; brother, James “Jimmy” Holloway (Mary); and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 5 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Friends may pay their respects on Friday, from 1 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.  www.subfuneralhome.com
