Harold David Howard

Mr. Harold David Howard, age 85, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 22, 2018. Mr. Howard was born on December 15, 1932 in Edmonson County, KY to the late Burl and Lucy. Mr. Howard was a member of Knopp Ave. Holy Baptist Church, he retired from GE after 38 years of service and he was a member of Masonic Lodge #830 F&AM.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his granddaughters, Alexis Lauren Howard and Carol Lee Patterson and his half-brother, Jimmy Stice.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Carolyn R. Howard; his children, Linda Patterson, Cathy Uebele (Rick), Rick Howard (Belinda). Stacy Cheser (Terry) and Tammy Burchfield (Bobby); 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; half- sister, Joyce Tally; half- brother, Sam Stice and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 26, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1:30 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
