Mr. James G. Avery, age 40, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on September 1, 2013. Mr. Avery worked in construction and was a Protestant by faith. Among those that preceded him in death include his mother, Hester Hines Avery. He leaves to cherish his memory his father and step-mother, James and Nola Avery; son, James Avery, Jr.; daughter, Summer Paige Avery; grandchildren, Chloe, Layla, Lillith and Kadien; and brothers, Ronnie Clopton (Bridgette) and Anthony Lanham.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 1 pm until time of service at Schoppenhorst. Obituary on www.subfuneralhome.com
