James Daniel Strange

James Daniel Strange, 86, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father February 10, 2017. Mr. Strange was a Deacon with Knopp Avenue Holy Baptist Church. Among those that preceded him in death include his wife, Anna Jean Strange; parents, Clell & Ruby Strange; grandson, Jason White; siblings, Thelma Esters, Creal Strange; and son-in-law, Roger Kessler Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Patricia White(Ernie), Judy Shields (Kenny), Jerry Strange (Debbie); grandchildren, Jessica Kennedy, Kevin White, Kimberly Downs, Wayne Kessler Jr., Jennifer Cox(Jamarr), Pamela Kessler; twenty great-grandchildren, two great great- grandchildren; and brothers, Harold Strange (Julia), Eldon Strange (Carol), David Strange (Sandy), Bobby Strange (Dorothy), Larry Strange (Cathy), Marion Esters; and sister, Nancy LaRue (Ottis).

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 2:00pm at Knopp Avenue Holy Baptist Church, 1612 E. Bluelick Rd, Shepherdsville, KY 40165, with burial at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 9:00am until 8:00pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks.
