Jane Margaret Holmes

Mrs. Jane Margaret Holmes, age 60, of Coxs Creek, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Jane was born in Woodbury, New Jersey on April 20, 1964, to the late Edward and Ethel “Osborn” Coates. Jane was a born again believer in Jesus Christ. She attended Vision Valley Baptist Church and was also a member of the new True Words Baptist Church. She loved all animals, but horses were her favorite. In her youth, she enjoyed being outdoors hiking and playing softball. Jane loved spending time with family and being with her grandkids. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who know her. Mrs. Holmes was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her loving husband, Goddard Holmes; children, Adam Holmes (Helen), Nathan Holmes (Milana), Rachel Walls (Caleb) and Joshua Holmes; grandchildren, Gabriel, Theodore, Micah, Josef, Abram, Aviah and one on the way; brothers, Eddie Coates, Dave Coates (Raquel) and Dan Coates; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in the chapel of Vision Valley Baptist Church (850 Fisher Ln. Mt. Washington Ky, 40047) with burial to follow at New Salem Memorial Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of service.
