
Mr. Davenport was born July 24, 1944 in Louisville to the late Charles A. and Dorothy Padgett Davenport. He was a member of the Brick Layers Union Local 1 of Kentucky for 43 years. Mr. Davenport was a devout Catholic and former member of St. Mary Catholic Church and an avid fisherman, bowler, gardener and had a great love for music.
Among those who preceded him in death include his parents; brother, Tony Davenport and son in law, Mark Fields.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Michelle Fields Martin (Steve), Denise Wooldridge (Larry), Kim Green (Daryll), Dara Huff and Dana Burton (Greg); grandchildren, Jacob, Shelby, Emma, Ian, Andy, Riley, Cole, Connor, Maggie, Hannah, Daylin, Presley, Olivia, Caroline and Kate; special friend, Phyllis Goodin; sister, Brenda Ellison (Ernie); brothers, David Davenport (Lynn) and Joe Davenport (Norma) and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. A private graveside service will be held at his final resting place, Hebron Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst. www.subfuneralhome.com
