Those who knew Johnny can tell you that when he walked into a room, you could count on one thing: there was never a dull moment. Although he will be sorely missed, his spirit will continue to live on through the stories told and the memories cherished by his loving children, Kathy Clark (Luke), Jerry Sharp, and Jackie Hatfield (Gilbert). and though his grandchildren, Lukey Clark, Johnny Clark, Jake Clark, Bobbie Hartman (Nick), David Hatfield, and Matthew Hatfield, as well as his beloved great-grandchildren, Jerry Hartman and Gracie Hartman.
Johnny is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Landers; his parents; several siblings; and his daughter-in-law, Debbie Sharp.
He was a man of many talents with his hands rarely idle. He enjoyed spending hours in the garage with a cold drink and listening to music while working on cars, trucks, and mowers or just passing time.
Above all, Johnny's friendly demeanor and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone would often lead to lasting friendships and memorable moments, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
