Judith R. Young

Mrs. Judith (Judy) Ralston Young was born March 1, 1943 in Trimble County, Kentucky. Mrs. Young went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2021 after a battle with COVID-19. She was a graduate of Southern High School in 1962 and attended Draughon's Business College, where she met her beloved husband, Marcus.  She was a member at Parkland Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. She was a loving and spiritual woman and continued to be until her last breath. 

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Bickel (Mike); two granddaughters, Shelby MacNaughton (Bobby) and Meagan Bickel; one great- grandson, Jackson MacNaughton; one sister, Ruby Smith; one brother, Raymond Ralston and lots of nephews and nieces. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Young; daughter, Kimberlee Young and parents, Herbert Lee Ralston and Ruth Fendley Jessie. 

There will be a service, in celebration of her life, on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 2 pm with visitation beginning at 1 pm until the time of service at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home at (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY). Please attend only if you have been vaccinated and are willing to wear a mask.
