Leonard Wayne Kelly

Mr. Leonard Wayne “Kelly” Kelly, age 54, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on October 19, 2017. Mr. Kelly worked maintenance on oil rigs. He was an avid University of Kentucky and NASCAR fan. Mr. Kelly was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Among those that preceded him in death include his grandparents, Ed and Lucille Skipworth and Leonard and Sophie White. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, David and Shirley Kelly; three wonderful children; three grandchildren; siblings, Al Kelly (Vicki), Debbie Sand and Dave Kelly (Bonnie); fiancée, Naomi Baker; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
