Margaret Rose Clanton

Ms. Margaret Rose Clanton, age 77, of Louisville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 17, 2025. Ms. Clanton was born in Lebanon Junction, KY on December 12, 1947 to the late Oedis Dennis and Kittie Pearl Bowling Dennis. She attended Faith, Praise and Worship Center, retired from Goodwill and was a loved and treasured mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

In addition to her parents, her 4 brothers, Roy Thomas Dennis, Arthur Eugene Dennis, Oedis Daniel Dennis and James Edward Dennis preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Tracy Chavez, Kenneth “Kenny” Jahelka, Theodore Clanton and Jason Clanton; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kristin and Gabriel; sisters, Ann Allen and Debbie Lemons and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Faith, Praise and Worship Center (160 Zoneton Rd., Shepherdsville, KY) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects from 9:00 am until the time of her service at 12:00 pm at the church.
