Mary Frances Mitchell

Mrs. Mary Frances Mitchell, age 95, of Ocala, FL returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 5, 2024.   She was born in Louisville, KY on October 8, 1928, to the late John Raymond Hall and Elizabeth Shepherd Hall.

Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Hall and Raymond Hall; two sisters, Juddy Hill and Edith Hale.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 73 years, Clarence Ray Mitchell, having united in marriage on November 21, 1950; two daughters, Freda Hale (Jim) and Fran Matheis; three grandchildren, Sara Voltz (Brandon), Andy Matheis (Tracie) and Joe Matheis; two great grandchildren, Haley Matheis and Grace Matheis and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in the Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY.  Friends may pay their respects on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
