Among those who preceded him in death include his wife, Anita Brewer Foster; son, Michael D. Foster, Jr.; father, Granville Foster and granddaughter, Dalys Rodriguez.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Cammie Lance (Artie); grandchildren, Shelby Lance, Brooke Foster, Brittany Foster, Brandon Foster, and Mickey Foster III; mother Bettye Foster; sisters, Debbie Williams (Ronald), Teresa Douglas, Susan Simoni; mother and father in-law, W.S. and Jean Brewer, and several nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes, cremation was chosen. Burial of cremains to be conducted at a later date in Brookland Cemetery.
