Ollie Lee McMichael, Jr.

Mr. Ollie Lee McMichael, Jr. age 84, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on January 16, 2021. Mr. McMichael was born in Nelson County, Kentucky on September 2, 1936 to Ollie Lee McMichael, Sr, and Ola Mae “Gritton” McMichael. Mr. McMichael, worked in the Maintenance department for General Electric for 37 years, was a member of Minors Lane Baptist Church, and he enjoyed spending many hours golfing, he loved the time he spent with his grandchildren, and above all he loved his family more than anything.  Among those that preceded him in death are his wife of 65 years who he adored, Anna Ruth “Hilbert” McMichael, brothers Charles and Joe McMichael.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Kimberly Scott (Bobby); grandson Michael Scott (Michelle), granddaughter Deanna, 4 greatgrandchildren Clayton, Taylor, Isaac, and Cason. A nephew Jimmy Hilbert (Janet) that was like a brother to him.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12 pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at Brooks). Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday January 24, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield, Kentucky,
