Otis "Bubby" Arthur Lyons

Mr. Otis “Bubby” Arthur Lyons, age 65 of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was born in Ohio County, Kentucky, on Monday, April 8, 1957, to the late Ernest and Ilene Lyons. He was a Baptist by faith. Bubby enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cooking and grilling. He especially enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren. Family was Bubby’s number one priority in life. He will be truly missed. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Danny Jo Lyons; his grandparents, Hazel and Otis “Pete” Turner and Arthur “Dot” and Mary Lyons.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 47 years, Cathy Lyons; his children, Jeremy Lyons (Kathy), Michelle Lyons and Pamela Tipton (Todd); his brother, Leon Lyons (Debbie); his grandchildren, Shelby, Chandler, Alex, Brianna, Payton, Tanner and Whitney; his great grandsons, Sawyer and Waylon; along with a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with cremation to follow. Visitations will be Wednesday 1pm until time of service at 6 pm.
