Raymond Arnold

Raymond Lee Arnold, 69, of Brooks, KY, lost his battle with cancer at home on February 11, 2026. As the son of the late Clarence Arnold and Maddie Blevins, he will be remembered for his quiet compassion and willingness to lend a helping hand when it was needed.

Raymond started his career as a tree trimmer & then moved on to General Shale brick company. After he left there, he became a “Jack of all trades” until finally starting his own small-engine repair business. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Raymond was also preceded in death by his brother, Tommy.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Arnold (Tarrence) of 51 years, their son, Randy and Daughter in Law, Rebecca.

Raymond is also survived by his siblings, Joe Arnold, Tony Arnold, Brenda Osborne, Bonnie Goldsmith, Peggy Simmons, and Jeanie Glass, plus many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Hardy-Close Funeral Home at 285 S Buckman St., Shepherdsville, KY 40165 with viewing on Monday February 16, 2026 from 4pm to 8pm. The funeral will be the following day on Tuesday February 17, 2026 at 9:30am.

He will be laid to rest immediately after at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
