Robert "Bob" William Vogel

Mr. Robert “Bob” Vogel, age 73, of Shepherdsville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Mr. Vogel was born in Louisville, KY on June 19, 1947 to the late Robert Vogel Sr. and Emma (Hayden) Vogel. Mr. Vogel worked for U.S. Postal service with 30 years of service as a letter carrier until his retirement. He was a faithful member to North Bullitt Christian Church,  was in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era and he loved his family dearly.

Among those who preceded him in death are his parents, and sister Peggy Casey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 35 years, Debbie (Brinley) Vogel; 3 daughters, Dana Corrales (Luis), Heather Woodward, Renae Trunnell (Kenny) and a son Bobby Springer (Frankie) 4 sisters Wanda Jones, Cathy Golway (Al), Melissa Holt (Sam), Lynn Kaiser (Bob), brother Chuck Vogel (Joan) 17 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 2: 00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the chapel at the funeral home.  With burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville KY.
