Robert Vincent Burress

Robert Vincent Burress, 80, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky passed away on November 17 ,2023. Mr. Burress was born on April 12, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Henry Bassett and Marietta  Burress. Robert was a self-employed Electrician and an Army veteran.  

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Jesse Burress, Barb Payton, Joe Burress, Fay Raizor, Joyce Carver, Pat Burress and Richard Burress.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Susan “Beasley” Burress; Daughter, Elizabeth Morris; sisters, Sharon Wheatley  (Ronnie) and Cindy Koch (Steph); grandson, Zachary Morris (Samantha); two great grandchildren, Easton Morris and Emilia Morris; and a host of friends. 

A Funeral service will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 11:30 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, November 21,2023 from 1:00pm until 6 pm and on Wednesday from 10am until time of the service.
