Ronald Lee Barnes Sr.

Ronald Lee Barnes Sr., age 70, of Valley Station, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Boyd and Virginia Griffin; along with a sister, Sharon Jett. He was a member of local post 1181.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Pam Jett Barnes; his children, Billie Jo Barnes Miles (Johnny), Ronald Lee Barnes Jr., Rhonda Calvert (Joe) and Eddie Jett (Jennifer); his siblings, Allen Barnes (Sue), Jose Dunn, Belinda Boyd, Diana Hagan (Ralph) and Tammy Simerl; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Friday from 2pm until 8pm and Saturday 9am until time of service at the funeral home.
