Shirley (Sissy) Elaine Hicks

Mrs. Shirley (Sissy) Elaine Hicks, age 65 of Fairdale, returned to her Heavenly Father on April 7, 2018. Mrs. Hicks was born on January 25, 1953. Mrs. Hicks was a loving wife of 30 years to Kenneth Hicks and a mother who will be remembered for her love of her family and a very giving and caring person.

Mrs. Hicks is preceded in death by her Father, Kenneth Ray Jackson; sister, Sharon Jean Harris; stepfather, Russell Stotts and daughter-in-law, Marie Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kenneth Hicks; daughter, Stacy Jackson; son, Russell Jackson; grandchildren, Samantha Jackson; Mother, Francis Ann Stotts; sister, Sheila Moore (Garry); nephew, Eric Stotts; niece, Apryle Moore (Beau) and nephew, John Michael Jackson (Lauren).

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 13, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Brooks Rd at Preston Hwy) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
