Susan Jean Jackson

Ms. Susan Jean Jackson, age 73, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at her home. Ms. Jackson was born in Louisville, KY on January 30, 1950 to the late Clarence and Gladys McCawley and she was Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, her sister, Sharon Hayes preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Shelli Mills and Steven Odd (Stephanie); grandchildren, Dalton, Ashley, Brittany, Lukas, Lilith, Liam, Dagon, Lydia and Lincoln; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Foster; several nieces, nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of her service at 10am at the funeral home.
