Susan Lee Meadors

Susan Lee Meadors, age 73, of Shepherdsville, Ky passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025, with her family by her side. Susan was born in Kingston, West Virginia on December 12, 1951, to the late Murlph Ustha Denney and Mary Edith (Andrews) Denney. Susan was a plant operator for over 20 plus years for Jefferson County Public Schools. She was a very family-oriented person, a loving mother, sister, Grandmother & Mimi. She enjoyed reading, crafting, crocheting, and shopping. Susan was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and has always used her gift of helps to serve her church family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Lewis Franklin Denney. 

She is survived by her children Stacy Enzor, Angela Minor (Jared), Brandi Hoskins (Kenneth), 7 grandchildren Destiny Farmer (Michael), Mariah Dennison, Thomas Bowlin (Tiffany), Leanna Devine (James), Elijah Dennison, Benjamin Hoskins, Ava Hoskins, 5 Great-grandchildren, sister Martha Ballew (John), brother Murlph Denney, Jr. (Gail), sister-in-law Delores Ann Denney, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
