Tessa Dawn Blackwell

Tessa Dawn Blackwell, age 24, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on June 16, 2023. She was a member of Life Church. Tessa was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 28, 1999, to James E. and Rita Loar Blackwell.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents,   Park Blackwell, Jr., Nellie Blackwell, Lloyd Wilson and Terry Loar. Tessa leaves her memory to be cherished by her son, Maverick Weatherford; parents; brothers, Brandon Blackwell (Katlyn), Terry Brewer, Jerry Brewer (Jessica) and Austin Brewer; grandmother, Yvonne Wilson; and a host of other family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Thursday from 11 am  until time of service at the funeral home.
