William Howard Chestnut age 69 was born February 27, 1946 to the late Grady and Elizabeth Skipper Chestnut and returned to his Heavenly Father May 22, 2015. Mr. Chestnut was a Viet Nam Marine Veteran, a retired Boiler Maker for Alloy Cladding and a Baptist.
Among those who preceded him in death include a grandchild, Harlee Chestnut; brothers, Butch and Joe Chestnut and his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Mary Katherine Key Chestnut; children, Heath Chestnut, Barry Chestnut, Sherry Lynn, Kathy Moore, Keith and Darrell Dunbar; sister, Kathy King; 20 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a host of other family and Friends.
Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance). A Private burial will take place at a later date.
