William J Decker

Mr. William J. Decker, age 79, of Brooks returned to his Heavenly Father on June 29, 2015. Mr. Decker was self-employed in the concrete construction business. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Dollie and Nellie Decker; son, Scott Decker; daughter-in-law, Cindy Decker; and several brothers and sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 58 years, Nola Stevenson Decker; children, Danny (Janet) Decker, Sherry (Frank) Weird and Dale (Carla) Decker; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dollie Embry and Agnes Hoots; and brother, Buddy Decker.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Scotts Cemetery in Leitchfield, KY. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 4-8 pm and Wednesday from 9 am until time of service at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
