Dennis James Machart

Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas and will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 10:00 am at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, Texas with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiner Catholic Cemetery in Shiner, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas with Deacon Dennis Kutach officiating.

Dennis was born on November 8, 1947 in Shiner, Texas. He was the son of B.J. and Adela (Simper) Machart. Dennis married Linda Werner on April 20, 1968 in Shiner, Texas. Dennis enjoyed going hunting or fishing when time allowed. He raised a vegetable garden each year. Dennis was employed by Circle Y Leather and Saddle Company as a Customer Service Representative.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 46 years; Linda Machart of Shiner, Texas, four sons; Mark Machart and his wife, Julia of Shiner, Texas, David Machart and his wife, Jennifer of Shiner, Texas, Kevin Machart and his wife Christine of Hallettsville, Texas, Michael Machart and Angel of Shiner, Texas, one daughter; Melissa Pokluda and her husband, David of Shiner, Texas, and fourteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; B.J. (2010) and Adela (2009) Machart.

Pallbearers for Mr. Machart will be; Jason Wauson, Matthew Werner, Scott Werner, Chad Janak, Keith Machacek, and Colton Machart. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandsons and granddaughters.
