She was born on May 28, 1927 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Alice graduated from Fair Park High School. She went to work at Castle Printing Company, where she worked the front counter in Sales. This is where she met Sidney, her loving husband of 70 years. They retired from Castle Printing Company together after 40 years.
Alice is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Ann Lammert, of Richland Hills, Tx., and Deborah Lynn Scheibner, of Benbrook, Tx. She had four grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
Alice will be remembered for many of her qualities, feisty personality, her love for her yard work, and most of all, the love for her two daughters and family.
The family would like to thank Hart to Hart Hospice in Fort Worth, TX., for all the wonderful care and compassion they showed our mother during her illness.
Visitation will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108, US, on March 5, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life at Graveside will take place at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108, US, on March 5, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Burial will be on March 5, 2026, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, in Section Fountain , Lot 83, Space 1.
